7. Hessische Frauen MusikWoche, 13. April 2004-18.April 2004 FUSION-Ensemble

| Dear Friends: |
| here are some pics of the
Hessische Frauen MusikWoche in Oberursel nearby Frankfurt/Main, playing
with my "Fusion"-Ensemble on our concert at the end of the
workshop.
Some of you already noticed that at this time I wasnīt behind the drums ;-) ... |
| the reason for this was
that on the 1st day of the workshop, our guitar player left the group
because Fusion wasnīt the thing she really wanted to do. A replacement
for her wasnīt possible either so I spent the week practising e-guitar
(the last time I had a guitar in my hand was when I was 15 or 16..) to
complete the ensemble on itīs final presentation.
It was a bit stressy for me get all the stuff up, but nevertheless it was a lot of fun to play with the girls who also did a very good job!! A.G.G., April 25th, 2004 |

rocksie "creative music" Frauenmusikwoche, Dortmund, 20.-24. October 2004

| now here are some pics of
the "creative music" - Frauen MusikWoche in Dortmund, playing
with my "AfroCuban/Brazilian"-Ensemble and the "Drums/percussion"-
class on our concert at the end of the workshop.
Well, I really donīt know what Iīve done in my former life that I have to play guitar again ... seems to be my destiny ;-) ... |
| I really have to say
"Good job" to all the girls who played in the ensemble. Many
of them never played Latin stuff before and I must say, they can be
proud of themselves to be able to play and sing so complicated stuff
after 4 days learning and practising.
Also the drum-class did a very good job. We did a Samba Batucada at the end of the workshop only after 2 or 3 hours of preparation and the result was great, the crowd went crazy!! It was a lot of fun to play with all you girls - keep up the good work!! A.G.G., October/December, 2004 |
